Unfortunately this girl has been retired from her amazing breeding career due to nasty breach birth. Persnickity's son, Gaston, was the 2004 ALSA Grand National Champion. Her legacy continues!!!!! Fortune Cookie is a very correct El Gris girl. She has produced for us several beautifully colored crias. Every year it is a surprise what she will give us. To date she has produced 8 females and 2 males all of great quality conformation and fiber. Our favorite combination has been Fortune Cookie bred to Campaign. This combination has produced 3 spectacular females that look like blue merle collies! Fortune Cookie can and will go through every gate and fence on the property. She is one of the smartest llamas I've ever encountered. Because of this 'trick' it is difficult to have her bred to the male of our choice. In the fall of 2009 she gave birth to a correct young guy that was quite the surprise at the end of November! He had to be bloodtyped as she had chosen her suitor! In 2011 she gave birth to a large reverse appy gal by Commander in Chief. Fortune Cookie rebred herself for 2012 and delivered the first baby of the year... a paint male. My bet is its an Icon boy, but only the DNA test will tell! For 2013 she was due in April... April came and went so once again that means she tricked us and bred herself... a baby girl was born... the baby daddy.. unknown. Fortune Cookie has given us a sharp little gal for 2014. She has had a super cute young female by Tapa San in 2015. I'm rooting for a Campaign rebreeding for 2016.

This was one fine female! She produced for us 5 stunning females and 3 fine males in her years here at Hard Rock. Her animals were consistently our high sellers at the farm every year. She produced large animals with superior conformation, fine fiber and regal presence. We lost her replacement to a freak farm accident. However, we bought BMLL Funny Girl a granddaughter. Funny Girl is out of Material Girl, a girl we bred and sold to the Armstrongs at the Celebrity Sale. Funny Girl, a granddaughter of Uppity, combines the El Gris line and the line of Fire N Ice and Sumptious (also on this foundation page) Funny Girl was the perfect replacement and went on to produce 3 females for us including Hard Rock's Pin-Up girl whom we have retained to carry on this amazing lineage. Pin-Up Girl is by WoodsEdge Phast & Phurious and looks very much like her famed great granddam shown here.

Mystique is a beautiful painted female! She is covered in wool from head to toe and has amazing substance. You cannot miss this girl in the pasture as she stands tall and proud at all times. Her first cria for us was a gorgeous Icon girl with correct conformation, fine fiber and beautiful paint colors. We loved her so much that we bred Mystique back to Icon for a May 2006 cria and she again gave us a flashy paint female, Hard Rock's Mystress. Mystique had a traumatic birth a few years back and has struggled to stay pregnant since. That said we do try to expose her each year in the hopes of getting another of her fabulous females to carry on her genetics here!

Winter Fox was a 2002 Celebrity purchase. This girl is big, correct, and has outstanding fiber. We love all of the attributes of this fine female. She is one of those animals that you can put with any male and get a true knock out! Her first offspring was a cool fibered Campaign girl named Foxy Lady. Foxy is a great example of what this fine female can produce. Winter Fox is part of a long line of outstanding producers; she fits with any male! Winter Fox is bred to Prime Asset for fall 2016.
